HOW WILL THE SHIP BE USED?
The Restauration is intended for several purposes in various settings. Amongst them will be educational sessions, excursions and other events arranged by Ryfylke Livsgnist and The Norwegian Emigration Center. The sloop may also lend luster to the emigration festivals which takes place in Stavanger and Kvinesdal, make adventurous trips in the fjords of Ryfylke and participate in other festivals and events in our area.
This will not be the first time Restauration has taken part in an event. The picture below shows a ”replica” of the famous sloop at the Minneapolis Centennial in 1925.
